Bert Boeren (b.1962) is a Dutch jazz trombonist and educator.
Bert took up the trombone at the age of sixteen, and became a teacher himself in 1987 at several Conservatories in Holland. Since 2003 he is teaching the JazzTrombone at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and from september 2015 also in Rotterdam. He travels frequently giving international Masterclasses.
Boeren has toured worldwide, both as soloist and as a member of various bands. He has played in the Eurojazz Big Band, the Dutch Swing College Band and the Bob Brookmeyer Big Band.He's currently playing with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw with guest-performers as Chick Corea, Benny Golson, James Carter and many others.

Marc Nightingale
Mark Nightingale is an internationally renowned jazz trombonist based in London who has recorded as a featured soloist with artists such as Clark Terry, Ray Brown, Scott Hamilton and James Morrison, as well as a host of UK greats, such as John Dankworth and Cleo Laine, Stan Tracey and Kenny Wheeler. He is also a busy studio musician and has worked with artists from all genres including Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, Michel LeGrand, Incognito, Henry Mancini, Kylie Minogue and The New Trombone Collective. As well as all this he fronts his own big band and various small combos, and is also a highly respected composer and arranger.

Marc Godfroid
In 1981 he joined the Belgian Radio Jazzorchestra.
From 1981 till 1985 he plays with Eurojazz, the Youth Big Band of the European Community.
He teaches trombone in the Jazz Department in the Conservatorium in Gent, since 1986.
He is a regular member of Peter Herbolzheimer's Rhythm Combination and Brass, and the Joe Haider Big Band and sextet (CH) since 1991.
In 1994 he founded the Brussels Jazz Orchestra, the leading Belgian Big Band. With this band he performed on several international festivals and in 2012 he won the Oscar for the music of The Artist.
In 1995, he was awarded the Golden Django Award for the best Flemish Jazz musician. On this occasion he performed with Stephane Grapelli in the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
Since September 1996 he is a member of the SWR big band in Stuttgart, with this band he plays concerts and records CD’s Frank Foster, Slide Hampton en Clark Terry, Maria Schneider, Sammy Nestico and Rob McConnell.
In 2013 he plays the Montreux Jazz Festival celebrating Quincy Jones’ 80th birthday.
In 2014 he was nominated for the grammy’s with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra.
In december 2015 le leads the SWR big band on a recording of Sammy Nestico’s music.
