Eastsliders Trombone Quartet

Das Eastsliders Trombone Quartet wurde 2017 gegründet und ist ein ganz neues Ensemble in Ostfrankreich. Bestehend aus Antonino Nuciforo (Posaunist des Lausanner Symphonieorchesters), Benjamin Vuadens (Absolvent der Musikhochschule Fribourg, CH), Richard Thomann (fortgeschrittener Student am Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon) und Laurent Weisbeck (Posaunenlehrer am Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard und künstlerischer Leiter des Internationalen Posaunenwettbewerbs des Elsass), zielt es darauf ab, dank eines attraktiven und gewagten Repertoires alle künstlerischen Möglichkeiten der Posaune anzubieten.
In Anlehnung an die Tradition schlagen diese vier Musiker dem Publikum vor, sich in Begleitung berühmter Komponisten und durch die großen Musikepochen auf eine eklektische Reise zu begeben.

Mit einer konsequent avantgardistischen Vision ihrer Kunst entwickelt sich das Quartett auch weit über den traditionellen Rahmen der klassischen Musik hinaus durch die Pflege von unerwarteten Verbindungen mit der Welt des Theaters, der zeitgenössischen Kunst und sogar der Önologie.

The Eastsliders Trombone Quartet was founded in 2017 and is a new ensemble in eastern France. It consists of Antonino Nuciforo (trombonist of the Lausanne Symphony Orchestra), Benjamin Vuadens (graduate of the Music Academy of Fribourg, CH), Richard Thomann (advanced student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon) and Laurent Weisbeck (trombone teacher at the Conservatoire du Pays de Montbéliard and artistic director of the International Trombone Competition of Alsace). It aims to offer all the artistic possibilities of the trombone thanks to an attractive and daring repertoire.
In keeping with tradition, these four musicians propose to the public to embark on an eclectic journey in the company of famous composers and through the great musical eras.
