Guilhem Kusnierek

Bereits zuvor Preisträger zahlreicher internationalener Wettbewerbe, Lieksa (Finnland), Porcia (Italien) und in Jeju (Südkorea), gewann Guilhem Kusnierek 2015 den dritten Preis beim 64. Internationalen Musikwettbewerb der ARD München.

​Geb. 1986 in Clermont-Ferrand im Herzen Frankreichs, entdeckte er mit 7 Jahren die Posaune. Er studierte in der Klasse von Abel Thomas am Conservatoire National de Région de Clermont-Ferrand und rundete seine musikalische Ausbildung am Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon bei Michel Becquet und Alain Manfrin ab.
Im Alter von nur 19 Jahren trat Guilhem Kusnierek die Stelle des Solo-Posaunisten am Orchestre National de Montpellier an und ist seitdem als Orchestermusiker tätig. Daneben trat er mit zahlreichen renommierten Orchestern auf...
Seit 2010 ist Guilhem Kusnierek stellvertretender Solo-Posaunist der Deutschen Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern.
Seit 2017 unterrichtet und betreut Guilhem Kusnierek die Posaunenklasse der Hochschule für Musik Saar in Saarbrücken.

Born 1986 in Clermont-Ferrand in the heart of France, he discovered the trombone at the age of 7. He studied in the class of Abel Thomas at the Conservatoire National de Région de Clermont-Ferrand and completed his musical education at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon with Michel Becquet and Alain Manfrin.
At the age of only 19, Guilhem Kusnierek took up the position of principal trombonist at the Orchestre National de Montpellier and has since been active as an orchestral musician. He has additionally performed with numerous renowned orchestras...
Since 2010 Guilhem Kusnierek is assistant principal trombonist of the German Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern.
Since 2017 Guilhem Kusnierek has been teaching and supervising the trombone class at the Hochschule für Musik Saar in Saarbrücken.
