Eglantina Grapshi-Mauger

Eglantina GRAPSHI - MAUGER, born in Korçe (Albany), is gratuated in piano from the Arts Academy of Tirana in 1994.

She wins the first prize of the Frédéric Chopin Competition in 1996 and also the Contemporary Music Competition in 1997 in Tirana.

After being graduated in her native country, she is invited abroad in various festivals as Albanian Ambassador to perform as soloist: the “Ryedale” Festival in UK, the “Floralia Muzyczne” Festival in Varsovia, the Chopin International Festival in Poland etc.

In 1998 she wins the DAAD Prize (German association for the cultural exchanges) and continues her piano studies at the Folkwang Musikhochschule of Essen (Germany) in the class of professor Till ENGEL. She obtains in 2003 her Master as soloist with a special award.

After her successful studies in Germany, she is invited to perform as soloist in music chamber ensemble, recital and orchestra in various festivals in Europe.

Eglantina improves herself in chamber music, trio and quatuor in various European countries such as: Germany, Poland, Croatia, France, Italy, Hungary, UK, Korea, Japan, Turkey, Macedonia, etc.

She is Pianist accompanist for string and brass in the HEM of Genève site of Neuchâtel and HEMU of Lausanne site of Fribourg (Switzerland) and official pianist for the International Brass Competitions in Europe and Asia.
