Brandt Attema

Bassposaunist Brandt Attema ist Mitglied der Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, New Trombone Collective und Slide Monsters (mit Joe Alessi, Marshall Gilkes und Eijiro Nakagawa). Seit Juli 2008 hat Brandt ein Duo gestartet mit Harfenistin Astrid Haring. Für diese tolle Kombination sind schon viele Kompositionen geschrieben worden, und das Duo ist weltweit sehr erfolgreich aufgetreten.
Brandt war Mitglied des Radio Philharmonie Orchesters der Niederlande von 1999-2019.
Brandt unterricht schon mehr als 10 Jahre an der Hochschulen von Den Haag und Rotterdam. Zum 1. Oktober 2019 folgte er der Berufung zum Professor für Posaune an die Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe.
Weltweit ist er regelmäßiger Gastsolist bei Festivals wie dem International Trombone Festval, Eastern Trombone Workshop, Blekinge Brass Academy, mehrere IPV-Symposien und viele andere.

Brandt was a member of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra of the Netherlands from 1999-2019.
Brandt has been teaching at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and at Codarts Rotterdam for more than 10 years. On October 1, 2019 he was appointed professor for trombone at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe.
He is a regular guest soloist worldwide at festivals such as the International Trombone Festval, Eastern Trombone Workshop, Blekinge Brass Academy, several IPV symposia and many others.
